My drivers seat right arm rest brokethe first year I bought the car (2000 S40), pretty bad engineering if you ask me! Anyway, it is still attached and all but it hangs loose, I can spin it around on the axis but it never stops to where it is useful. Anyone have any dealings with fixing this arm rest?

I know the way I described the problem might not be useful but you never know, I"m sure someone has had a problem with this poorly engineered arm rest!

 

There is a clip you will need to buy to fix it.
There is a C clip with a piece of plastic like a pin coming out of the center.
When the arm rest hangs free the pin in the middle broke.
