Default dynomax?

shop is making my 3inch downpipe and 2.5 inch rest of the system no cats, on a 05 T5 s40, the problem is i want my car as quiet as possible but not sacrificing to much performance.. i want to get dynomax turbo muffler and 2 resonators. Will this be a quiet exhaust or no and how much resonators help?
thanks

make sure with your muffler that it is astraight flowing muffler..you dont want much restriction on the back end since its a turbo...

its going to give you quite a bit more power, but you will def hear it since your taking your aftermarket muffler off too...make sure you'll meet your inspection as well with not having any cats onit..

taking out your 2nd cat and your first res. and throwing in a 2.5 stright pip...also replacing your flex pipe to a 2.5 in flex will give you 18+hp also around 10ish lbtrq.... dyno results say so .....

not much noise difference on this mod just a nice deeper sound when over 2500ish rpms...
not anything that noticable ..... also doesnt sound rice at all

and no CEL also can pass emmisions since all 02 sensors are on the first cat... but the first cat is the one with most rescrition of flow

of yea it is itll throw a cel and the code is prob gonna be a p0420 cat below threshold......
You can buy these things off ebay to make your ecu think that there is a cat.
it makes the 2nd o2 sensor read a different reading from the 1st so the ecu thinks theres a cat and the 02 sensors are working just fine.... while actually you have no cats at all and your o2 sensors are just zipp tied on somewherezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

o never mind... i dont know if 05 s40s have 2 cats cause there totally different from the Ph1 and Ph2 s40s...I dont know if any of my statements are true because I over read the s40 being a 05 ... but you still can get a device that tricks the o2 sensors to think every thing is aok..... def. wont pass emmisions or smog or whater....
also you'll prob get fined if you get caught with that mod.... but thats a very very small chance and One i take with my 2nd cat and 1st res. out with a 2.5 stright pipe... Its the ****

ok. got thhe exhaust much better ecceleration but to deep inside the car especially toward the back seat
i still have to put the tips on, i used magnaflow straight through muffler and 36" cherry bomb at the end of the downpipe
what can i do to quiet the sound inside the car maybe some speaker sound insulationr text here. in the trunk or under the car...or tips should lead the exhaust little further out...any idea?

yea i know cherry bomb is not good just kinda late now... i was wondering if it would be better if i bought a resonator from a muffler shop and installed it in the place of cherry bomb
