2001 volvo s40 125,000mi

After sitting for a while the car will hard start 5-10 secs.
Have tried multiple things.
-check fpr its ok
-cleaned idle air
-replaced fuel pump, spark plugs, battery, starter.
-had mechanic check vaccums and fpr said both were working good

any more suggestions would be great

Long crank before starting is the fpr. Like you I had checked the fpr and everything looked good. Finally changed the fpr out of desperation and it fixed the problem. They are quite expensive now though. I paid about $95 a few years ago and now they are $175+.
