I know I haven't posted here. I'm a C30 owner that had missed out on the previous Bell FMIC GB, so I figured I would try to get something together for us again. Here's the deal:

Alright folks... it's finally arranged. If you missed out on the Bell FMIC GB last year, here's your chance at a hella deal.
I had been communicating back and forth with Don at Evolve and he's gotten us some really good numbers. These rival, if not beat, those offered by Bell. Well here they are:

21 or more: $540.00 and after everyone has signed up, bought the intercooler at the $540 price and payed for it, everyone will be sent the cost of 1 IC divided by the # of buyers (i.e. $540/ 22 buyers = $24.54 so the end cost would be $515.46 + shipping). I can verify information to anyone to show that I am legit and would infact be good for that $25 (or whatever it would be) rebate.


These prices EXCLUDE SHIPPING. You can use their calculator online by putting the FMIC in the basket and entering your zip. It's like $45 for me and I'm across the country from them.

We are still working out the fine details, but it looks like the buy will close out at the end of March. This should give everyone time to get your tax rebates back .

Ya, sorry guys. It does kind of suck that we can't just get everyone in on these. Don at Evolve was more than willing to work this out for the C30 intercooler... he may do the same for the other models (assuming they make them for your models). It's always worth asking.

 

I've gotten several guys that are signing up "if we reach 21+". If any of you guys (or gals) want in at a certain point, let me know. If you want in at 11+, just say so... or 21+, etc. I've updated the list.

 

If I'm not mistaken, this may also work on a 01-04 V70 T5?

 

I'm not saying that it won't... but Don was pretty specific in listing the C30, S40, V50, and C70. I can ask if anyone is interested.

For those of you on the fence... I've got some GOOD NEWS. This has become an even BETTER DEAL!

Originally Don had written that if we get to 21+, my intercooler would be free. I thought this was a great deal for me, but didn't share the wealth. So I wrote Don if we could be creative with the "free intercooler".

Again, Don has been awesome, giving me room to create an incentive. So what I want to do is one of the following:

1) Have everyone sign up, buy the intercooler at the previously posted price and pay for it. Then I will send everyone the cost of 1 IC divided by the # of buyers (i.e. $540/ 22 buyers = $24.54 so the end cost would be $515.46 + shipping). I can verify information to anyone to show that I am legit and would infact be good for that $25 (or whatever it would be) rebate.

OR

2) We can have everyone sign up, buy and pay for their intercooler at the posted price ($540 + shipping for 21+). Once everyone has payed, we 'raffle' off the amount of 1 intercooler. The end result is that 1 lucky member of the GB would get all of their money back (minus shipping).

THIS IS ONLY GOOD IF WE REACH THE 21+ MARK. And everyone the 21+ members will have to pay prior to the extra incentive is given (at the close of the GB).

Don is bending over backwards for us, and I would love to see us hit that mark for them (and not to mention for the huge savings).

Let me know what you guys think... we'll reach a decision here, and I'll post the new incentive on the other sites.

I agree we need to wrap it up quick. I'll honor the $540.00 price (plus shipping) even though we are a few short. If a few more come in thereafter, I'll honor those also (let the forums know!). Here's how to proceed (unless you have other ideas):

1. Have each person log into our on-line store at: http://205.178.167.180/index.asp?PageAction=LOGIN
2. Have them either create an account or log in if they have previously purchased from us.
3. Have them order the intercooler for their car.
4. On the third check-out screen (the shipping selection screen), there is a place for "Special Instructions". Have them enter "Group Buy" and their forum name (i.e. GAMille)
5. As they check out, the amount will still show as $749.00. However, I will adjust the price to $540.00 and send them a confirmation of such.
6. We will ship out the intercoolers as soon as I get my next batch in.
7. We will not bill their card until their intercooler ships.

I should have a better idea of when they will be in on Monday and will let you know so you can communicate timing to the participants.

That is disappointing that some backed out, even though we gave them the low price. The ATP intercooler is a cobbled together unit using an off the shelf intercooler and "making it work" on the T5...

Our intercoolers are now assembled, pressure tested, and will be powdercoated this Sunday. We will be shipping the first week in May. No credit cards have been or will be billed until they ship.

The good news is that I had another person contact me about getting in on the group buy. I'll try to get his order in at the same price and add him to the list once that happens.

Even though we haven't come near the 21 we needed, I will still honor the $540.00 price to those that have committed. I trust they will see this as a generous token. Do what you can to get a few more orders in our system!
