faulty gauge or leak in lines??
 

I installed my boost gauge and it sucks.....
I found a crack in a line but its so close a T that I dont think it is a problem.... clamped down all the ends of all the vac lines ... and my boost gauge readings suck ass........
whats the vac pressure supposed to be for a stock s40.... and what boost would it read.....


my boost doesnt even go over 0 when I gun it




heres what it reads when i just start up the car... its kinda different every time and the needle wants to go past 30 some times... some times it stays at 25 and some times it flutters

Could either be the gauge itself, but seems like you have a leak...your psi when your flooring it should reach if stock around 8-10 psi...Im not sure with the whole vacuum thing as my gauge starts at 0 psi and only goes up from there...

wouldleaks in my vac lines cause any performence issuses??

the needle is supposed to go down and show a vac reading and then go up when presssing the gas to show you the boost your using
