You should stay with OEM or better (Brembo, etc.) I would be leery of off brands. The quality might not be there and warpage, increased stopping distance, etc. could come into play. Whatever you do, don't have the rotors turned. Volvo does not recommend turning rotors as they can warp. Can't help with the screw question.

I did front rotors and pads about 5k ago and used Brembo rotors from fcpgroton.com. Very straight forward and no surprises during the job. First time I've ever done rotors too. Rotors are held to the hub just by the wheel studs. Take the brake caliper off and the rotor just pops off. You might need to tap it with a rubber mallet or block of wood. Brake caliper bolts are on TIGHT. Turn the wheel and use a cheater bar.

I used Brembo too. Very satisfied. As said above, they are held only by the pressure between the wheel and hub and the studs keep it aligned. The calipers should be torqued correctly as well as the wheel studs when you stick it all together.
