Headlight Upgrade (non-HID)
I'd like more headlight than the OEMs on this car and I have been looking into Sylvania SilverStar which claims White light after I saw a tv commercial.

There isn't any mention of overheating in the FAQs that I see but I wonder if these will work and not melt the housings, the TV commercial looked a lot brighter than my lights seem to be.
I also don't want lights that really look bluish.
Anyone with experience with these or other improved halogen lights? I don't want to spend the $$ for HIDs!

RE: Headlight Upgrade (non-HID)
I have Silverstars in LOW and HIGH beams.
They are a brighter white then the stock OSRAMS.
They will not melt anything. You will be fine.
Honestly HID's can be had for cheap now. $240-$260 or so.
When you consider that Silverstars are $30 a pair. So if you do LOW and HIGH beams, that is $60 righ there.
