Default Heated seat

Over the past week or so I've noticed my driver's side heated seat is definitely not working, but the HVAC system works fine... was wondering if anyone else had to have theirs fixed/replaced and if so, how much did it cost for parts and labor?

Thanks!

First check your fuses. The cabin fuse panel is located under the glove box behind the fuzzy cover. You loosen two wing nuts and the panel swings down and then pulls forward so you can access it better. It's still a PITA to reach though.

Fuse #60 for heated drivers side seat. (#61 is for pax side)

Both are driver and passenger are not working on my 2001 s40 leather seats.
Fuses are fine.
Also my driver power seat adjustment went out - no apparent fuse issue.
Thanks

I would use a multimeter set to DC volts and check for power on both sides of each fuse. Make sure the key is turned to ON so everything is normally powered. If you have power on both sides of each fuse then next check under the seat at the electrical connector. If you have power at the seat then the issue is in the seat itself. From there you would need to decide what's best for you, take the seat apart and repair or have someone else do it.

If the cabin fuse does not have power then work backward to the underhood fuse panel. Look at the large fuses that send power to the cabin fuse box.
