Recently I was driving my Volvo S40 2.4i (revving quite more than usual) and suddenly I saw the smoke coming from under the hood. It turned out that the upper heater hose came off and the coolant was dropping on the engine (causing a smoke). I put the hose back into its place but now it keeps coming off whenever the car attains a normal temperature. Is there a way to tighten the clamp on the hose (it's OET 29) or should I replace the hose altogether? It seems like the clamp has no ears and it's not straight forward for me to how to remove the clamp.
