Anyone change the exhaust?

 

I have never changed the exhaust in our S40, but I have been thinking about it. I know that Volvo offers a performance exhaust for the 2001 s40. Has anyone ever used it? Is there another ehaust that might work better?

Found a performance exhaust. It says it gives it 5hp. Any info?

 

It might help if you tell us where you found this exhaust. I had to do a little mod to my exhaust this week. I had to get the flex pipe removed and install a new one. Saved me from having to but a new one. While the car was on the hoist I had a look at the system and the stock one doesn't appear to be to bad. (2001 S40). Problem I found was from the down pipe to the Cat. I think this area could stand some improvment. I was told that it is one piece from down pipe to end of the first resonator?
I found a couple of systems on the net but they are pretty pricey. 2000 to 3000, if you are only going to get 5hp then you are paying like $400/1 hp. To costly for me. I am going to fix the stock one and save some money.
