Inputting Radio Code on Volvo s40 2002
I just got my 2002 Volvo s40 back from repair shop. I cannot turn on the radio because I must input a code. I know the code. I just do not know how to put it in.
Any help appreciated. thanks in advance.

if it says 'off' - you must wait 2 or 3 hours with the power on before it goes back to saying 'code'
Bought a 1998 V70 in 2018 in Cali. Replaced the battery tonight and went looking for the radio code. Found it...along with the card showing it was sold at Smith Volvo:0. It now lives in Pa. Now I need to find out how to get that battery light off...
put a volt meter across the battery terminals - should be 12.6 or so for a charged battery. when you start the car, it should be between 13.5 and 14.5 depending on load (ie lights etc). if it says around 12 with the engine running, you need a new alternator or voltage regulator.
I disconnected it and made sure the terminals were clean today. Reconnected and light has disappeared. I got a voltmeter today and checked it. Charge is fine, maybe a little low but within specs. I'm going to keep checking it every few days. Thanks for your help!
