I want to install a compustar remote starter on my sister's 2000 s40 but i'm unsure if the car has an immobilizer that I would have to bypass. Does anyone know if I will run into any complications? Thanks for the help

 

There is a way to hook it up with out bypassing the immoblizer.I've seen it done but I dont know exactly sure how it is done.You might want to do some more digging on the net to find out how.

I would try alarm sites or sites that give info about alarms.Most of the time people have alarm dealers install the alarms.

 

I assume that you are fitting this to a model automatic transmission not a manual. Don't have any detail to help, sorry. They are also illegal to use in the UK anywhere other than you own private driveway.
