Unless they just released something new, I believe they only make it for the T5. Others have made custom cold air intakes for the 2.4i.

Email this guy, he might still be making them...
gdubdesigns@gmail dot com

Here is his intake that he was selling. At least take a look at the design, it should be pretty easy to replicate if you want to go your own route...

Yes, create a new thread about your car and the issue you have going on. This thread is specifically about intakes for the 2.4i. There lots of things that could cause you to lose powah when you get on in. Well need more details in the new thread you start in the S40 section.

Go to O riley's and custom build and air intake for it. Cost me 100 bucks. Then go to ace hardware buy a metal strip that is 3 feet long bend it to hold the ECU away from anything that will cause it problems. Then drill two small holes appx. 1/4 inch in diameter in the battery duck that runs along the underside of the hood. That will keep the ECU from over heating. Grab two washers and a nut for the bolt that held up the ECU, 2 feet of high temp hosing same diameter as old hose Total cost is 130 dollars! Sounds awesome when you punch it!!! Everybody looks. Then for more sound. Get a cherry bomb and have a shop weld it on instead of the stock, cost me about 200 bucks with the muffler.( be sure to tell the shop how you want it welded). Ill post a picture of it. For more noticable horse power get double platinum or uridium denso spark plugs! Adds much more torque and power. Shaved about a second and half of my 0-60time !!
2006 Volvo s40 2.4i

Not only do you get sound, power and more torque out of the car, gas milege is much better when driving the speed limit. So far no problems with 10,000 more miles. Running synthetic and premium gas.

A muffler isn't the same as an exhaust.

And premium doesn't account for anything.

0-60mph. Spectra Intake From o-Riley's, Denso double platinum spark plugs, and a cherry bomb muffler. Nothing Special but it makes the car quicker.
