Need Help! 2006 S40 T5 Fuel pressure sensor!
Wife is out of town - about an hour and a half away. Check Engine light came on. Had the code checked and came back fuel pressure sensor. She said every once in awhile she felt like it was "slipping" - her words. Anyway, she had the code cleared and went on. She's about to head home. Do I need to worry that the car won't make it?
I think the car has a limp home mode or "reduced power" mode. It might not be time to drag race but I'm thinking fine to get home. Just tell her to take it easy.
You can fix it pretty easy if you have the tools. Take the plastic cover off. Relieve fuel pressure. Remove electrical connector. Remove star bolt.
