Newbie - no manual - where is the hood latch?

Default Newbie - no manual - where is the hood latch?
Help! Need to add windshield washer fluid and I don't know how to open the hood? Didn't get the manual with the used 2005 S40 T5....I feel dumb

It should be under the dash close to the drivers door.
