Part that holds the headlight bulb in place?
The bulb is held in place by a stiff metal wire bent into a U shape that hinges at the bottom of the U to swing out of the way when changing the bulb. (Remember not to touch the glass part of the bulb with bare skin as the oil will cause it to fail quickly) The open end of the wire tucks under a metal tab, one for each wire. The tension of the wire against the bulb holds it in place.
The big gotcha for me was the electrical connector for the bulb. The plastic part quickly broke as it's far too brittle. This leaves the exposed metal connectors. It turns out these metal connectors have little tangs that grip the light bulb electrical posts. You have to depress the tangs on the connector before removing it. I broke my headlight housing twice before I figured out the issue. (Stupid cheap plastic headlight housing)
