Default Power steering fluid leak

I believe that I have a power steering fluid leak on my 2002 Volvo s40. What do I check for and what should I look for besides dripping fluid, which I have already spotted?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I found my high pressure power steering hose leaking where the metal part is crimped to the rubber part near the pump.

Instead of buying a new expensive Volvo hose I took my old hose to the local hose supply house and had them make up another. All they need is the metal ends. Now this messes up the routing as you no longer have the nice bends of the original hose. I routed the new hose underneath the engine/trans and held it close with cable clamps and zip ties. If you are OCD then this won't work for you.
