Hi I have a 2005 s40 got in car yeterday and radio did not work, drove home got back into car and radio worked, is this an on going problem on the s40?

 

It sounds like you have the frozen radio syndrome. About 50% of the time if I have the radio ON when I shut the car off, the radio freezes when I restart the car and try to change stations via the presets. If I cycle the radio power a few times it works again. The CD works fine. I have talked to Volvo Service several times and they reloaded software, replaced the ICM but still no joy.
