I have a 2002 S40, I took out my battery to reset thrown codes to see if i fixed my problem (didn't reset them... but its fixed) and now I'm stuck with my radio saying OFF... I have looked online and found disconnecting the battery, take out the fuse, and leave the keys in on accessory 2 for 2 1/2 hours or so. The battery got me into this problem, I just tried the fuse (not sure if I did it right though), and I'd rather not kill my battery... I have the code I just can't put it in...

Is there something I am missing or just not doing right?

 

Leave the key in the accessory position for 1-2hours. The radio will reset itself to where it says "code".
