removing drive shaft, volvo s40 T5 AWD
Hello All,
Hoping someone can help out with this. My 2005 s40 was vibrating during acceleration so I had it looked it and was told it was a bad drive shaft. The plan was to remove myself and order a re manufactured one from Colorado drive shaft.
The front came out no problem and the center bearing support is free as well. The back will NOT come out. I have searched this site others and the internet and cant find anything vehicle specific on it. I have seen info for some older/different models that say just tap the joint and it should basically drop right out. But I have done everything and had no luck. Is there a trick to this I dont know about? Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.
