Replacing Fuel Pressure regulator on an S40

Hi-

I have a 2000 S40 and the fuel pressure regulator is leaking. Is this an easy repair to do myself? Does anyone know how it attaches to the fuel rail?

Thanks

I have a 2001 that I just replaced it.
I am not sure if I had the original regulator in it or not.

What I did was pull out the center piece which is metal by removing the clip.
Then got the part number off it which happened to be the same as the 2003-2004 FPR.
Then I just got that part. It was a bit of a hassle my first try when google searched the part number then ordered it, I made the mistake of saying I had a 2001, the supplier above all motor works refused to send it to me saying it was the wrong one for a 2001. Despite my emails insisting they send it they just canceled the order. I ended up getting one locally and putting it in. Takes only about 5 mins to do.

thanks for the info. I just bought the whole part, for $175.

I will give it a shot...
