replacing passenger side airbag on 2002 s40

I have seen at various delaers (Volvo and otherwise) that it takes about 3 to 3.5 hours to replace the passenger side airbag in a 2002 Volvo s40.
Is that realistic?
Some people said it should atake twice as long, but I have never seen any data saying that.
It takes only 45 mintues to replace the drivers side airbag according to the same data and that seems a high estimate of the time required.
Any help appreciated.

I am just trying to find out how much it will cost me to repalce this airbag.
I can do a quick mental calculation of 3 hours labor. But everyone I have talked to says that is just not realistic.
That is the purpose of the question.
Any help appreciated.

Ah I see. Sorry, I don't have access to the labor times from home.
If the people who say it takes twice that time are not actual mechanics or familiar with the job, then I wouldn't take what they say as a good indicator of the actual labor time.
A DIYer might take 4 hours to do a job that pays 2 hours and I can do in 1 hour.
If you don't have an answer by the time I go back to work next week, I'll look up the labor time for you. You're talking about the airbag in the dash, right? Not the SIPS bag?

Yes, it is in the dash. The whole dashboard has to be removed to install the passenger side airbag. The actual airbag install is quite simple. The dashboard removal and replace is where the three and a half hours are used.
When can I contact you again?
