Default Rod bearing cap torque specs for 2009 S40 ,2.4i,Engine B5244S7

Replaced old worn rod bearings because of knock, anyone know the torque specs for rod bearing caps two 10mm bolts?

I found two stage 22 ft-lb then 90 degrees, that seem to be too tight, after doing one of the 5 that much , I can not turn the crank.

I have seen that page and it does NOT help, quoted from that page is below specs

5 cylinders Petrol, B5244S5, B5244S4, B5254T3, B5254T7 Engine torque specs:
Connecting rod cap
1st Step: Torque to 15 Nm
2nd Step: Torque to 25 Nm
3rd Step: Angle tighten 100°

Above quoted torques for connecting rod cap is even tighter than the 30 Nm (22 ft-lb) then 90 degree that I tried,
it will hold rod connection to crank so tight that crank can not be rotated to torque the remaining 4 to specs.
Hope to hear from one who actually replaced the ROD bearings.
It is not the 25Nm or the 30Nm, but the 100 or 90 degree turn after, that makes it so tight.

I have also seen a note that says change the two 10mm bolts too, wonder if it's necessary to buy new bolts too.

yes you should use new bolts as they do stretch (same deal with head bolts)

OK , I order 10 new bots an try again. Also got the comment below at Sweedspeed:
" qaz996 said:
Another vote something is definitely wrong.
I am a dealer technician and have replaced rod bearings before. When everything is correct, the bolts can be properly torqued to specification and the engine will turn easily."

That is correct, "when everything is correct", in my case something basic was wrong, the rod caps are directional (despite their symmetric look).
If you bolt them on rod the correct way, then you could torque to the spec, if you bolt them reverse, then the clearance may become too little and
the crank can not be turned.
Mounted the 5 caps correctly, torqued them to the spec, engine starts and run smooth, no more knocking noise.
