hi, my friend has a 2008 volvo s40 r design, and it would not start the other day, so he had it towed to volvo in leedswho looked at it and said .... the windscreen washer bottle has leaked, causing water to get into a circuit board, to fit the new circuit board,they want £2300 !!!
he only bought the car about 4 months ago fron carstar in leeds and paid for a warranty............. antone got any ideas what he can do ???

 

Why is it not covered under the warranty? Actually the car should still be under factory warranty unless he has over the 50,000 mile mark. Sounds like a rip off to me. Are there any other dealers in your area you can talk to?
