Default s40 t faults

hi again, not long bought s40 turbo, all was going great until...

started getting slight hesitation in accellerating from low revs and when taking foot off the gas to return to idle the revs drop and then jump back up to normal.sometimes the engine cuts out.but not often.then..

check engine light came on so i did a scan and found p0138 o2 sensor high volage bank 1 sensor 2and p0171 system too lean, had a quick look and all hoses and connectors ok.only thing i cant check is fuel pressure as i dont have a guage but fuel filter is probably original so thats gettin changed, anyone any ideas...thanks james

Make sure the idle motor hose is good. The hose goes from the intercooler over to the intake manifold.

A Bad O2 might cause that problem as well.

ok,would that cause the poor idle also or would that likley be the idle control valve itself?

You can clean the idle motor and see if that helps.
The O2 will also make it run rich and use more gas.

Possibly but not likely. See what happens when they look at it tomorrow.
