Hi

i've got a '06 Volvo S40 2.0 SE diesel.

i've gotten this error twice now in a matter of hours. first time first errors were(both together):

Anti skid service required
&
Power steering service required.

within a few secs the engine 'cuts out' and a red warning light appears stating that 'brake failure' (or words to that effect) 'please stop safely'. After a few secs of restarting the engine the car kicks into life and i can drive away again.

is this just a simple case of getting those features mentioned above services or something more?

sounds like a bad abs module....

 

i' ve got the same problems, the same errors and it repeats all the time... mechanics don't know what to do about it and it happens since 3 months..
i've got s40 2.0 Diesel momentum 2005. HAve you got any feedback from service?
