so iv got a few problems with my 2003 volvo s40, most important issue i have right now is the car will not start. so i show up to work get out and the key fell from my lap to the asphalt, i didnt think anything of it and picked up the key and go into work. 20 min later i need to move my car so i put the key in the ignition and attempt to start the engine, the key turns and all the dash lights come on and i hear the fuel injectors running but the engine is silent and never attemps to start. i call volvo and they say have it towed here (at least 50$) so we can run a diagnostic test (80$) and if its the key causing this problem then we can replace the key (200$) and also they would have to program the software from the new key to the car (90$). and volvo isnt even sure if it is the key causing the problem. please i need any advice i can get i dont have ne money to pay for this now so my car is stuck sitting in a parking lot. like i said the key will spin and turn on everything but the engine, also i can still unlock the door with the remote....any input will be appreciated
