Default Steering Wheel

I bought a sport steering wheel for my 05 S40... I wanted to install it myself, but before I do that ... i wanna know if it will be easy? IDK if i should take it to the dealership instead...? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

az

dealership might not do it because the air bag will be removed....

i would consider it a do it ur self job. not that hard to do at all, and as far as getting the dang thing off autozone has a puller u can rent for free.

Never had a steering wheel off one of those, but be careful of air bag if your going to do it yourself. I would take it to a dealer. What steering wheel are you replacing it with?

Hmm... so you think, with the right tools of course, that this installation is no biggy?

Should be easy! Hardest thing would be taking the airbag out of the old wheel...

It's $375 plus you will need an airbag. Pretty pricey for a cosmetic mod which I have considered as well.

Default Remember to disconnect battery!!!!

Anytime you get near an airbag. Seats, steering wheel etc.

Much less chance of a unintended deployment. I would probably start the car from the passenger seat the first time as well... Just in case of BOOM.
