There should be holes in the back of the wheel. You will need a Long T-30 Bit to loosen the screws and the Air Bag will come off.

Remember to disconnect the minus lead from the battery, otherwise the airbag could inflate. Or you could trigger the airbag error light, which can only be reset at the dealer !!!
Remember the radio code before disconnecting the battery, watch out as the trip meter and the clock will reset too.

Good luck !

Default Wipers & mirrors

Thankyou everone for the help on the steering wheel. I'm also tring to solve a few more problems:

1. Is there a way to adjust the wiper arm tension on the windshield wipers? Whenever it just starts to rain or has been raining for a long period of time, the wipers will chatter on the windshield at any wiper speed. I've gone through 3 sets of wipers in the last 6 months! I haven't used any solevents such as RainX on the windsheild either. My dealership mentioned that products like RainX can breakdown the rubber more quickly on the wiper blades and cause them to wear sooner. Any suggestions?

2. I have a cracked side mirror cover that i want to replace myself. The actual mirror is fine, the painted cover needs to be replaced. Does anyone know how to remove the outter cover on a side mirror?

Thanks again for the help.

Not sure about the wiper arms, maybe you could bend them a little?

To remove the mirror, just remove the plastic cover on the inside of the door. It just pops off, there should be a bolt or two and the mirror will come right off. there should also be a few electrical connections, and obviously you will need to disconect those when you remove the mirror.
