anybody seen or put subs in an s40? i know volvos have like fiberoptic wires or somthing like that. i just havent seen any subs and i definatly want a nice system in my car. thanks

 

you can have a really nice system without adding subs. I had a 12" sub in my old car and it wasn't worth the space I lost in the trunk. if you add subs like that to your trunk you will lose all the value of your trunk and your folding back seats. but that's my opinion.

my plan is to just replace the stock door speakers with some nice polk speakers and replace the tweeters, too. That should add a great amount of bass without being so obtrusive as a box in the trunk.
