Help!!!
Almost a year ago I talked my wife into getting a V50. It now has 54K on it and every since the 50,000 warranty ran out we have had problems. First we got the PCV oil deal fixed by the dealer and a week ago I had it aligned, which I wonder may have caused the current problem.
Something in the drivetrain was whinning only when the car was moving and the mechanic said a bearing was bad in the crankcase, it was full of fluid and it would be $290 to find out if the problem was in the transmission or the case. I guess a new one costs 3000. I have looked all over the site and it doesn't seem to be a common problem. Do you think the dealer will cover it since it is a 4 year warranty even though we are now 4K over?
Thanks,
Ian
