TCM and ECM are not compatible 2005 s40
Hey everyone, I recently posted another thread but I've run into another issue.
I mentioned that I replaced the transmission on this s40 that I bought, that being said once I have driven it, the new transmission has all kinds of issues, one being that it does not manually shift into 1st gear.
It is almost undriveable, however ..
If i were to place the old TCM from the bad transmission into the new transmission, will this fix the problem? I need to know because it is a junkyard motor but if I do so it will void the return policy of this transmission if it ends up being bad. If it helps, the vehicle is running code: P0614 which indicates that the TCM and ECM are not compatible ..
I need help please and thank you!!!!
