Thermostat and coolant sensor question:
What is the correct thermostat for my '02 V40? I see FCP Groton has three shown: 87, 92 and 104 degrees.
Also, does anyone know the part number for the cooant temp. sensor? I'm getting repeated PO 117 codes (coolant temp low), so I'm just going to swap out the therm and sensor. I've heard this may be causing my occasional misfires, rough idle and hesitations on hot starts. I've already changes plugs, wires and coils (all OEM). |

I can get you an OEM part # for both if that will work?
The S40 has a weird temp thermostat. But the temp sensor is the same as the S70,V70,S60. |
RE: Thermostat and coolant sensor question:
thanks tech; part #'s will work.
