Default Too Many issues

I have a 2000 Volvo S40, it was pratically given to me with the issues, It had an oil leak so I fixed that, then the strut mount was broken fixed that and just replaced all the brake pads on the car and both front axles. A lot of work but I gave it shot.

The issues I still have:

After changing the brakes in the front and the back, the ABS light is on and can't figure out why. There are times when I step on the brake it seems that the brake is trying to clutch onto the rotor and doesn't seem to grab it right away and hear a grinding noise. I checked to see if the rotors and brakes were properly installed and dissembled and put them back on and still the same issue. I know the Sporty Mode is doesn't come on anymore and the ABS light is on all the time now.

The other issue is when I drive and I hit a bump there is a clunking noise from the drivers sound, I am not sure but happens only when I hit a bump. Everything underneath looks fine ball joints, tie rods, just replaced both axles because I thought that might be the issue.

Thanks for the help.

Grab your sway bar not the link but the actual bar and see if it moves, there is an aluminum bracket that mounts it to the subframe, if the rubber is gone hence your clunk. I just had the same and it's a b$&@h of a job
As for ABS if you have a bad wheel sensor your cruise, speedo, and other things may not work, depending which sensor it is.

well I found out what it was, the bushings on the lower control arm where worn out hence the clunck noise. With the ABS the rear wheel abs ring was broken and just need to replace that, bought a new hub assembly since the bolt was broken.

Thanks
