I am the Proud owner of a 2006 S40, I love the car but recently the trunk locked up. It will not open with the remote or at the Electronic latch. However the emergencies latch still opens the trunk. I have checked all the fuses and the valet lock is disengaged. but it is not unlocking can anyone help me??

 

My 850 would periodically not lock and the alarm would not set, a good blast of wd40 in the handle and the lock mechanism would take care of it.
