Hi all,
my remote has suddenly stopped working! On the same day the interior lights also suddenly stopped working (apart from the footwell "courtesy" lights)

It is both remotes, so not the battery in the remote itself (although i did replace both in the vain hope that my problem would be fixed). I have checked and replaced the "central locking fuse" but cannot find if there is a specific fuse for the remote.

Can anyone suggest my next move?

May need the remotes re-synched with the car. The dealer should be able to do it.

 

me too. PLease help. I have a volvo S40 2000 model. Central lock suddenly failed completely. All was working fine then suddenly after a ride it completely stopped working. completely meaning its as if
there's no power going to the system. Not even from the dashboard button. I have to do everything manually by key. And with the key it opens manually; just that lock of that door goes up, as if there's no central locking at all. The fuses are all ok. What could be the problem?
