Default Urgent 2008 S40 Engine Splash Shield Help Needed

Hey guys-My engine splash shield actually fell out (in the front) while driving last night. All of the front screws are gone. It's only being held up by the two back mounting points. I have a 2008 S40. What screws do I need (part number if possible)? It's strange that I just had my oil changed a couple of weeks ago. Maybe they forgot to tighten? Thanks-Jeff

The front part should slip up behind the bumper so that the wind can't catch it.

OK but what screws do I need? It looks like they may be part # 986063 at swedishautoparts.com. Does that look correct?

I don't know that. When I lose a screw or bolt I try to match one that remains. It's just not that critical an area. As long as it's held in place and doesn't puncture something above I grab what I can find. Now having said that the previous owner of my 2005 actually used a drywall screw to secure the radiator mount. This screw put a nice hole in the condenser that I ended up replacing when I discovered the leak. Please do not use drywall screws.

I'd rather do it right instead of rigging up my car like that. I found the parts at volvopartswebstore.com
