Volvo s40 2005 boot will not open
I can’t open the boot/ trunk. The boot might of got wet as it was left open in the rain, when it closed I couldn’t get it open again
What I have checked
1. Nothing got caught in the boot lid when it closed
2. I got a new microswitch from volvo for it and removed the old one and replaced and plugged in the new one and it doesn’t open the boot. I didn’t put the licence plate lights in.
What I haven’t checked
1. Where is the fuse for the boot lid release switch in the boot.
I don’t have a manual release inside the boot so how do I get it open?
