I have not installefd this version yet. I installed an earlier version several years ago and it was a long and tedious process. I never could get it to work.
I guess that I am looking for a README file or a Getting Started manual. Is anything out there?
Thanks in advance.
Respectfully,

Two thoughts:
1) Do you mean VIDA? VADIS is the previous repair database system, AFIK.
2) VIDA is developed for a VERY specific computer environment. Depending on the issue year, this can be either Win XP or Win 7.0. If your computer environment is different, you can run a VMware image for VIDA on any computer. Image is at

I'm not aware of any decent instructions for VIDA (assuming you mean VIDA). I installed the 2010 vs. on my XP machine and I can attest to it being a very tedious install. In addition, my CD's were corrupt so the ebay seller had to send me another set. The previous poster is correct. you need an XP machine with sufficient horsepower to support this app + a reasonable amount of storage space. In addition, it will not run on a 64bit machine even running a VM application.
The app itself is pretty straight-forward to operate though.
I ended up installing mine on a completely clean machine with no other apps installed. I then took an image of the drive using Norton Ghost so that I could re-install a known good image if the installation went side-ways...which it did, multiple times.
