A good friend is considering an 07 2.5i as a first car for her son. It's got 92,000 miles and being sold by a used car dealer. The price is well below book value, and he dealer admits that it has been repaired, but the Carfax is clean, it has a clean (non-salvage) title, and he showed her photos of light pre-repair damage. She is going to bring it to me tomorrow so I can inspect it and I'll put it on my lift to check for signs of more significant damage. Are there any specific issues I might need to look for when I inspect it tomorrow?

 

There are a few recall items I believe. Make sure those are done.
