Where is the Fuse Panel? Hardwiring Question
Car: 2006 Volvo S40 2.4i
Ok, keep in mind that I have only had this car for less then a week and only today got my new Escort 8500 X50 Radar Detector. I am going to need to purchase their hardwiring kit as the plug in for the power is behind the shifter, so the wire is stretched to it's limit. Escort sells a hardwiring kit that taps into the fuse panel. I've done a bunch of wiring (stereo installs, etc) in the past but I was wondering, WHERE is the fuse panel? I took a quick look under the dash and didn't see it. I did see a fuse panel under the hood near the driver's side windshield (top) but didn't check there yet.
Wondering if there is a fuse panel INSIDE the car?
Wondering if there isn't, and you have to tap into the battery/or fuse panel in the engine bay (if that is where it is), then does anyone know of a firewall opening that will work and roughly where it is?
Thanks in advance........
