Default Windshield Fluid does not spray

Could someone, please, post a picture of how the windshield fluid tank & hose system looks like under the hood? There seems to be a disconnect between the tank & the sprayers on top of the hood.
Thanks.

what year s40 do you have
the newer s40s love to break the t valve for the drivers side sprayer causing the fluid to go into the engine bay.

Default window Spray

I had the same problem, it was the "T" nozzle that connects all the other hoses (drives side). The only way you can get a replacement is to order it or go to the dealer. Sometime one charges more then the other. Picked one up for $12.00. Another dealership wanted 20.00.

Same thing happened to me on my '05 S40... but Canadian Tire was able to supply a white plastice T joint for $1.00. Just bring the part in so that they can see the size of the ends that they need to match to.

I just did this on my 05 s40, the bottom cap of the T popped off. I replaced it with a vacuum T that is all 1 piece, got the variety pack at O'Reilly and matched the size up. I think it was 3/16" OD for a barb fitting.

Don't replace it with the same crappy/complicated volvo T, it'll just break again. Some things are better simple.
