My car oil warning lite came on the other day and I needed to add 5qts of oil. I've had this car since new and with 74K miles it has been seviced at the dealer while under warrenty. Over the last few years an independant shop has done all of the maintenance and repairs. I have never had to add oil to this car before. It had an oil change last oct and this situation just came up. I'm afraid of the damage that may be done and I'm also worrired that the shop did not fill up the oil when they serviced it in oct.
What would you do in this situation?
