I'd like to remove the console where the dome lights are to put some USB charging ports in there. Putting the ports in the dome light keeps the cord close to tthe nav on the upper windshield.

Anyway, can't find any way to remove the dome lights and console so I can wire up the ports inside there for a clean look. Can anyone point me to directions?

You just have to grip it an' rip it. The tab by the rearview mirror pops out first, hinged in the front. After that, you can pry your fingers along the sides and the front to pull down. It feels tight, but it'll come off.
