06, s60, 2.5t, awd - car runs okay for some miles, begins to ‘smother’/‘starve for fuel’... will die while driving or idling.... immediately cranks back and drives great... even when running great and apply wide open throttle it hesitates, sputters, pops... until reducing throttle... all kinds of codes... evap, fuel pressure high, fuel pressure low, misfire all cylinders...
replaced fuel fuel pressure sensor, fuel pump (twice-thought a Bosch might help, original was leaking at tank) fuel has strange odor, seems to run better when 1/2 tank or more...plastic tank, 138000 miles
