I am in a need of a Volvo AWD limo with manual transmission and I have to choose one of these two, first is 2.4T and second 2.5T, I like them both..first I can have for 6500 EUR and second for 7000(with tax deduction) so there is a minor price diferrence buth for the second one I need to pay ~150 EUR more per year for registration because it has more than 2500 ccm (2524 or so, stupid displacement anyway).

Can you write some pros&cons of both engines?

I can only comment on the 2.4T as that is what i own. I find it a great engine with plenty of low down pull and a good turn of speed if you need it. The 2.5 is only 10 bhp more than the 2.4 which i find plenty quick enough and would i pay an extra 500 for it plus the extra tax. I doubt it.
The 2.4 has more than enough power and go for everyday needs and keeps up with many of todays offerings from the big manufacturers like bmw etc. I dont find myself wishing i had another 10 bhp.

Yeah but its not only about 10 HP more(moreover when you tune ECU that would be ~260 HP on both), 2nd car is somewhat newer, seems to be in a little bit better condition with less kilometers on it..
