Default 2001 S60 2.4 T key fob or some car electrical problem

So my fob works 15% of the time I’m not sure why but it’s random and when it does all the buttons work on the fob even the siren but when my fob doesn’t work my overhead lights doesn’t and my rear overhead lights don’t work and my sun visor light doesn’t work as well I would like to note that my sunroof doesn’t work even if my fob works not sure if it’s related I would really like to solve this problem if anyone could help I think it could be the upper electronic module or something

Does your alarm work? (not the horn that beeps when you push the button on the remote) (roll window down, close and lock doors, pretend to break window and open door from inside - does the alarm sound and lights flash?)

A bad siren module can make the sunroof module not work - and possibly the UEM also.

You have a bad siren module - that might be causing your sunroof and UEM problems. The backup battery in the module goes back and leaks acid onto the circuit board. That causes data communication problems - the siren module is on the CAN network closest to the sunroof and UEM. So - if you don't want to replace the siren module - you will have to physically disconnect it - (not just the fuse) Siren module is located under the rf wheel well splash guard - and mounted with security bolts. (heads are broken off)

so I ended up disconnecting the connector from the siren module and everything worked as expected but after a couple minutes it went back to how it was so my key fob and sunroof didn’t work, did I do something wrong? I also tried to keep connecting and disconnecting the connector again but nothing I had also bought a used siren module but it didn’t pass the window test so I’ll return it but that doesn’t matter
