While stopped in gear, engine lunges when rpm's vary. Runs fine while underway. Any ideas? Thanks

 

I have a S60 T5 2002 and my problem is that when I'm running on a steady pace not fast my rpm's start to make an intermitent pull's. I have already put new spark plugs on it, check the spark plugs connector and the problem still there, anyone can help me with any ideas?

My S60 did that while I was stopped and turned out the Throttle Unit was bad. It was a $1000 repair, but luckily it was under an "Extended Warranty" (AKA "Recall"). Anyway not sure if it is the same thing with you but you may want to check that out with a VOLVO mechanic.
