Hello all,
I have a 2002 S60 AWD with a generation 1 Haldex. The controller on the gen1 has failed multiple times. Can the complete rear carrier be interchanged with one from a 2003-2005? Mechanically I believe that the units can be interchanged but would the electronics work? The plug on the newer gen2 Haldex controller appears to be the same plug. what woudl be needed to upgrade gen1 to gen2 interchanging a 2002 rear carrier with a 2003-2005 rear carrier?
