2002 s60 T5
considering trading a truck for a 2002 s60 T5. it has high hwy km's: 280000! it has had the following replaced in the last 18 months: timing belt, turbo, all 4 wheel bearings, brakes, tie rods/ball joints upper and lower, tires, battery.
is this pretty well beat? seems high in km's to me, yet i keep seeing/hearing volvos are good with higher km's. of course regular servicing is key. any thoughts or opinions? im very wary about a car with this many km's on it, yet love the car!

As long as quality parts are used and everything else checks out okay, it seems safe. Highway miles are nothing for most cars. 2002 wasn't Volvo's best year for the S60 transmissions, so a test drive is critical. Take it on a long test drive, both stop and go and high speeds. Get it warmed up and put it through it's paces. If it feels solid with sharp shifts and everything else looks good then go ahead. Make sure you check that everything works, and I mean every switch and dial. A lot of people tend to let little things go without spending the money to get it fixed, especially on an older car.
(280000 km = 174000 mi for anybody too lazy to look it up.)
